Last year
in the United Kingdom, we spent over £2.8 billion on snacks. Far more than our
European neighbours! Whilst snacks can be enjoyed as part of a healthy,
balanced diet, please give a thought as to how this affects your teeth.
Each time
you eat or drink (anything except water), your teeth are subjected to an acid
attack. Too many acid attacks on your teeth will lead to cavities and tooth
decay. Research shows that limiting the number of acid attacks per day to 5 or
less is the best way to reduce your risk of tooth decay.
